Global Sources Best of Innovation Awards October 2025 Results Announced
In October 2025, the Global Sources Best of Innovation Awards, hosted by Global Sources, were unveiled at the Global Sources Hong Kong Exhibition held at AsiaWorld-Expo. These awards recognize innovative products exhibiting excellence in practicality, cost-effectiveness, technological maturity, and market demand alignment. In collaboration with the European Product Design Award (EPDA), the event also presented the “Best Product Design Award” to outstanding products and brands demonstrating breakthrough and forward-looking design thinking. Additionally, a special “Artificial Intelligence Innovation Award” was introduced in the second phase to highlight extraordinary AI technology applications and promote AI adoption in practical use cases.
Authoritative Selection Leading Innovation Trends
This edition of the awards focused on seven key sectors: consumer electronics, gaming and e-sports, mobile electronics, batteries and energy, smart home, security appliances, and quality living. The judging panel comprised representatives from the Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association, Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association, GS1 Hong Kong, IOT HK Association Limited, Hong Kong & Kowloon Electrical Appliances Merchants Association, the Sino Group, and Hong Kong tech media TechApple. Entries were assessed on design concept, innovation, quality, and market potential. EPDA’s global influence and international judging standards guided the Best Product Design Award evaluation, with EPDA founder Hossein Farmani and CEO Laurent Devos judging based on “aesthetic design, user experience, innovation, sustainability, functionality, and social value,” seeking pioneering designs with visionary thinking.
